Mount Hector is one of the tallest peaks in the Canadian Rockies at over 11,000ft! Look forward to beautiful views and a long glaciated ski run. Best suited to spring, an early start is essential for this long day. After a steep initial climb, the Hector glacier will require route finding through crevassed terrain and a short technical section will be climbed on foot to reach the summit. Mt Hector is one of the classic ski ascents in the Rockies. The descent will make your legs burn with over 1500m skiing to the road.
