Backcountry Skiing & Splitboarding

Powder Turns, Quiet Landscapes, and Big Mountain Objectives

The Canadian Rockies are a world-class destination for backcountry skiing and snowboarding. Deep powder, wild terrain, and a true wilderness experience await those willing to earn their turns. Whether you're just venturing beyond the resort boundary or planning a multi-day traverse, we offer guided experiences to match your goals.

Our trips are designed for skiers and splitboarders looking to explore untracked snow, challenge themselves physically, and build the skills needed for safe and rewarding days in the backcountry.

Day Tours: Slackcountry & Classic Rockies Lines

From short skins beyond the ski resort to full-day remote objectives, our certified guides lead day trips in classic terrain like Surprise Pass, Purple Bowl, West Bowl, Pipestone Ridge, Quartz Ridge, and Emerald Lake.

These trips are perfect for developing backcountry habits, improving fitness, or simply enjoying fresh snow far from the crowds.

Multi-Day Hut & Tent-Based Adventures

Dive deeper into the mountains with overnight or multi-day ski tours. We run trips to legendary huts like the Hilda Hut and Fairy Meadows, as well as remote tent-based experiences in untouched terrain across Alberta and BC.

These trips blend powder skiing with hut life, exploration, and opportunities for mentorship and skill development.

Ski Mountaineering & Glacier Travel

Ready to venture higher? Our ski mountaineering trips take you into technical terrain, glacier crossings, and alpine summits. Destinations include Mount Hector, Mount Andromeda, Columbia Icefields, and Rogers Pass.

The Wapta Traverse

Experience one of the most iconic ski traverses in North America. Travel hut to hut high on the Wapta Icefield, with options for ski summits along the way—including peaks up to 3300m. Our trips are fully guided and catered for an immersive experience.

Choose the 5-day Peyto–Scott Duncan Traverse or the 4-day Bow–Yoho option. Both offer world-class skiing, alpine views, and unforgettable adventure.
