Surprise Pass
One of the classic Rockies tours, the Surprise Pass tour is a circumnavigation of Mount Fairview. The route runs past the glaciated slopes of Mount Aberdeen, up a short but steep boot pack to the pass itself and culminates in an outstanding 700m ski run towards valley bottom. The tour ends with a ski across the frozen lake towards the iconic chateau. This tour has it all, exploration, excellent skiing and some of the most stunning scenery in the Canadian Rockies.
