Fairy Meadows
Deep in Selkirk Range of the Columbia Mountains is one of the most popular of all ski touring huts in all of BC, the Fairy Meadow (Bill Putnam) Hut, renowned for deep pristine snow, spectacular scenery, and prime backcountry skiing terrain. The hut sits at 2,050 m (6,700 ft), and has a plethora of options. The Northern aspect of much of the terrain holds the cold snow well and the surrounding peaks provide runs up to 1,300 m elevation change. All this with skiing all the way back to the door, where an ample communal area and cozy sauna await. Fairy Meadows is run by the ACC. The hut is awarded based on a lottery system and PeakSTRATAGEM has been lucky enough to secure dates for 2020. Join us for this trip of a lifetime.
