A great choice for cold Rockies days, this 4,000ft south facing slide path offers views of Emerald Lake, Mount Field and the Presidents. A short approach along the shores of Emarald Lake leads to a wide slide path. As we work our way up you will enjoy the views of Emerald Lake and the Lodge that shares its name. The col offers views of the Vice President, President and the Yoho Valley. If conditions allow, those with energy to spare can push on to Emerald Peak otherwise this is our turn around point. Enjoy the long descent back to the Lake. Emerald Lodge sits enticingly below calling us in for refreshments.
